I invite you to see exceptional entertainment in the intimate Armstrong and Nakano Theatres. The Torrance Cultural Arts Center is home to both venues, each designed for memorable entertainment experiences. The 500-seat Armstrong Theatre, with superior acoustics and unobstructed sightlines, is the perfect place to get up close and personal – literally – with top performers, enchanting storytellers … even entertaining scientists! The 160-seat Nakano Theatre is the ideal cozy setting for a glass of wine and buffet dinner at monthly Jazz Cabarets.

The Arts Center Foundation, a nonprofit organization working in partnership with the City of Torrance, brings quality entertainment and educational programs to the Armstrong and Nakano Theatres. With the help of the companies listed on this site, we do that at affordable prices for residents of all ages throughout the South Bay.
