Dear Friends and Patrons of the Performing Arts,

The Torrance Cultural Arts Center is much more than a collection of buildings. This is a place where creativity comes alive and magic happens on stage for audiences to see and share. The Torrance Cultural Arts Center Foundation (TCACF) is a non-profit organization of local community and business leaders. The Torrance City Council wholeheartedly supports our mission for fundraising in order to present shows that encourage and inspire civic involvement with the Center while burnishing esteem for our great City. Your participation and attendance at one of our shows is evidence that you support this cause, the educational ideals and cultural mission of the Foundation.

I would like to add more great reasons to garner your support and energetic participation in our annual fundraising activities:

We need your support beyond ticket sales to help defray the increasing operating expenses for our entertainment and educational programming.
Arts are for all ages and demographic groups – our programs promote,enhance and make accessible cultural diversity within the community.
TCACF offers local high-caliber entertainment that patrons can enjoy right in our local area. It help saves the environment too.

Donor Wall Update

Two lighted glass panels in the Armstrong Theatre lobby bear the etched names of people and businesses who, since 1991, have generously donated to the Arts Center Foundation and its mission of bringing high-quality entertainment and educational events to Torrance. In January 2009, we will unveil new, updated Donor Walls in the lobby. The new categories are:

Benefactors $1 million & up
Patrons $500,000 - $999,999
Directors $25,000-$99,999
Partners $5,000-$24,999
Sponsors up to $4,999

You can make a contribution to help sustain the arts in the South Bay – and put your name or that of a loved one in lights for posterity – by calling the Foundation office.
