Featuring Casey Carle, a bubble artist extraordinaire who has “burst” onto stages all over the world with a flair for showmanship and infectious energy for bubbling – from the intricate to the massive.
See the beauty, wonder and fun of bubbles as Casey combines spontaneous comedy, jazz music and brilliant bubbling. Among his many featured skills are fantastic fog-filled bubble sculptures, blobs of helium-filled foam, bubble ping-pong, trapping an audience member (or two?) inside a gigantic soap bubble and thousands of bubbles filling the stage.
Casey Carle’s unique skills have been astonishing audiences of every conceivable nature: Corporate Events, Science Museums, Schools, Shopping Malls, Banquets, Festivals, Regional Theatres, Conferences, Civic Groups, Libraries - his humor and skill appealing to ages 5 to 95. Casey's act brought a "new dimension" to Ringling's 3-ring circus and was featured at The Lucille Ball Festival of New Comedy, making his mark along side other "cutting edge" comics nationwide. His outstanding scientific and entertainment achievements have been recognized by science and children’s museums coast to coast including The Smithsonian Institute.
Mr. Carle regularly tours much of the northeast US and has many national and a few international credits as well, including cruise ship engagements in Hawaii and the Bahamas and performances in Singapore, Mexico and Japan. Performances have been used as regional television entertainment, a CBS circus special and as educational TV in upstate NY. Mr. Carle has been featured in a book and telecast entitled: Positively Connecticut by Diane Smith and also featured in "Family Fun" Magazine (Disney Publication) and SCOPE Magazine for Teens (Scholastic Press).
Mr. Carle has earned awards for both his artistic talents with soap bubble manipulation and in his position as co-author of "BubbleOlogy: A Hands-On Science Kit" (Time-Warner Books).
He lives in rural East Haddam, CT with his wife, Kandie, who performs her own single-person show “Victorian Lady: Dressing From Corset to Gloves”. They are also founders, co-artistic directors, actors and directors of The East Haddam Stage Company.
